VTI announces its one year Diploma, and the two-year Associate of Science Degree in Software Programming.
With the growing industry demand for software programmers, the launch of this programme is seen as a timely one. Graduates will find employment as web site designers and developers, database administrators and programmers, application programmers, graphics designers, software support specialists and systems analysts.
The curriculum was finalized after a full year in the development stage that involved a number of consultations with industry experts, employers and faculty members. Depending on the level, the programmes will include classes in the latest programming technology including VB.NET, JAVA, ASP, PHP, SQL , C and more.
VTI will seek accreditation through the University Council Of Jamaica immediately on completion of the Associate programme by the charter group. This will ensure that all graduates benefit from the expected accreditation.
Students are now being registered for the September Day & Evening charter groups.
