About the Programme
The Diploma in Software Programming prepares individuals with fundamental programming skills to develop, maintain and troubleshoot simple programs. The curriculum also prepares individual with the foundation for developing further skills in addressing more complex programs.
The DSP programme is designed for students who wish to enter the field of computer programming. Graduates will be expected to demonstrate a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software principles and functions, write programs that apply to a variety of business and other applications of intermediate complexity, and explain the client-server model for program design and implementation.
Career opportunities include entry level positions on a software or application development team, providing end-user support; program or application testing or maintenance.

Students successfully completing the programme may matriculate into the second semester of the Diploma in Software programming or the Associate Degree in Software Programming.
